Paradigm Shift
Dry Brushing
The goal of this treatment is to teach you, the client, how to take charge of your own lymphatic health. Dry brushing is an excellent way to improve skin appearance (including cellulite) and promote cell renewal. It has the ability to stimulate your nervous system and improve your energy.
In this session, we will first demonstrate to you and then teach you how to do your own dry brushing at home. You will receive your own personal brush and a booklet that you will be able to refer to as you need.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal of this treatment deal with pain in one or two specific locations (ex: right elbow, left knee) due to swelling from a recent (relatively minor) injury, or arthritis, or thoroughly healed joint replacement. This could be a great spot treatment for those living with rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia flare-up, or someone dealing with the repercussions of falling off your bike.

Total Body Reset

The goal with this treatment is to decrease pain by doing a total body reset of the body’s lymphatic system while focusing on the areas that are causing you pain. We recommend that folks interested in this treatment consider purchasing a package so that their issues can be approached incrementally.
As one of our greatest teachers often reminds us: “Your pain didn’t appear in an hour; it is unfair of you to ask your body to get rid of it that quickly either.”
Great for fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and others who experience pain, joint stiffness, or chronic fatigue.

Pre Surgery
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal with this treatment is to prepare your body to work optimally in the days leading up to surgery by activating the immune system and detoxing the system before a procedure. This is also a chance for the therapist and client to establish a baseline for post-surgery treatment.
And it’s super relaxing and a great way to decrease pre-surgery anxiety.
RECOMMENDATION:
1-2 drainage sessions 1 -2 weeks before surgery

Post Surgery
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal with this treatment is to move inflammatory fluid away from the surgical site so the entire body is an optimal healing environment. MLD has the potential to reduce pain, decreases swelling, and lowers the chance of post-surgical fibrosis. This manual lymphatic drainage technique will be tailored to your specific procedure and personalized to fit your body’s needs.
The timing and during of your post-surgery treatment is dependent on your surgery type and location, your health post-surgery, and any complications. This is one of the reasons that we only offer this treatment in packages so that you are able to get the full benefit from these services.

Pregnancy
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal with this treatment is support a woman who is or is wanting to become pregnant. The American Pregnancy Association considers massage to be safe and beneficial for pregnant folks starting in their first trimester because caring and nurturing touch is always indicated. Lymphatic massage is helpful because it activates the body’s immune system as well as potentially reducing anxiety and increasing the body’s ability to rest. MLD also has the benefit of reducing pain and swelling that often happen in a pregnant woman’s face and lower limbs.
In this treatment we are especially cognizant of the “detox” effects of a lymphatic massage and follow a specific protocol before and after the session to ensure that they stay adequately hydrated.
RECOMMENDATION:
No more than one treatment every two weeks.

Post-Partum
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal with this treatment is to support a woman after childbirth. This service considers a woman’s changing hormones, changing body, and changing sleep schedule. These sessions often address the lower half of a woman’s body which are often swollen after both vaginal or cesarean delivery. Another point of focus can be the breasts and dealing with their change in volume and pain due to the multiple issues around breast feeding.
We’ve also made this available in half hour time slots for women who are dealing with the logistical challenges of inviting a new human into the world.
